Homebrew Antenna Mount for Peaked Roof:
After a new roof, siding, and windows, I needed a way to mount
a small HDTV antenna on the roof without drilling any holes.
I wanted something sturdy that wouldn't shift or damage shingles.
In other words, a non-penetrating peak roof mount.
This is what I came up with using pressure treated 2x4 and 1x4:
It's approximately 4x4 feet at base, and a bit over 1 foot high.
Cost about $15 including 2 U-bolts and 4 bricks.
I screwed it together in place to ensure it lays flat.
This is a small 2 pound antenna about 3 feet high.
You can add weight / scale up to handle a larger antenna.
